On the roof of St Peter’s Church in the tiny village of Nerezisca on the island of Brac is a black pine tree (Pinus Nigra) which is thought to be over 100 years old. It looks like a natural bonsai plant because it has grown between the stone slabs on the roof of the church and has experienced stunted growth. The church was founded in the thirteenth century and contains valuable church treasures.
