| The mosque is built in 1558/59 and architecturally it is one of the most representative examples of classic Turk styles in Bitola. The Mosque has square base with dimensions of 12,80 m. The dome is 19 m, and the minaret is about 39 m high. Today, the mosque's rooms house permanent and temporary art exhibitions. Recent archaeological excavations have revealed that it has been built upon an old church.
