| St. Blaise's Church is in Deželić Street. It was built between 1912 and 1915 and was designed by Viktor Kovačić. It has a large reinforced-concrete dome, with approx. 18 ,eters in diameter, the first of the kind in this region. The World Was I made completion of the church by the original design impossible, especially its interior. Since Kovačić died in 1924, Albini and Hribar started finishing the interior, following his design; however, it has not been finished until the present-day. The church's four bells were made by Antun Blazina, the last bell founder in Zagreb. |
