Located in Via Carmine, the church itself, once dedicated to St. Erasmus, was Mother Church of Santeramo until 1741, when the new church was built Matrix, bigger. In 1614 it was renovated inside and also outside in the south. The church was equipped with a bell tower dating from the fourteenth century., Then destroyed, with two double windows on the top floor and roof pyramid.
