| This Baroque styled square (semi-circular in shape) lies in the north-western part of the star and dates back to the 18th century. The Baroque palace of the current city museum, which dates back to at least the 17th century, faces the square. Other buildings include artisans houses, military palaces and the town hall, with the town’s government based here. An interesting structure sits in front of the city museum, the 17th century remains of the foundations of St Joseph’s chapel. |
