Description:
Ozalj Castle looks like a fairy tale castle above the Kupa River and is in the Baroque style with some Gothic features. This castle has been home to 3 of the most important dynasties: the Babonics, Frankopans and Zrinkis. The castle used to be accessed by a drawbridge and there is only the Gothic chapel, the defence tower and Nikola Zrinkis palace remaining from the initial fort of Ozalj.
