Description:
Built in 1939, it was burned down by the Ustasha in 1941. It was renovated three times in 1964 and 1989/90. During the recent war the Church was laid waste, but in 2009 it was rebuilt thanks to the hard work of the people of Benakovac and Fr. Savo Jankovic, the parish priest. In 2009 the newly rebuilt Church was consecrated by His Eminence Bishop Chrysostom on the Feast of the Holy King Lazarus of Serbia. The new bell was donated by Bishop Ephraim of the Banja Luka Diocese.
