Description:
The Church of St Lucy in Jurandvor is well known for being the location where the famous Baska Tablet of Glagolithic inscription was found by Croatian archaeologists. A copy of the tablet which dated from 1100 may be viewed here. The church was built in the twelfth to thirteenth centuries on the site of an earlier church. Inside the church can be found a wooden polyptych and some interesting fourteenth century artwork.
