| The Benkovac Regional Museum is located in the Kastel, a medieval castle since 1984 and is a part of the Archaeological museum in Zadar. The museum contains a large number of archaeological finds from over a 100 sites around Benkovac. Other items are contained in the ethnographic and cultural collections. Some of the museum’s materials were damaged between ’91 and ’95 because the museum’s staff were prevented from entering the museum during the war. |
