| Maskovic Han was built in Vrana in 1644 so that Maskovic could retire here however he died in the same year of the construction of the house through execution in Istanbul. This luxurious residence is important monument of Secular Islamic architecture in Croatia and has been fairly well preserved in an unfinished state. Maskovic was a powerful Ottoman military leader and a Sultan favourite. |
