| Inside the cemetery of Benkovac is a little known chapel or family mausoleum dedicated to Ivo Mestrovic and his wife Jela. The mausoleum is a simple building with a façade in the Art Nouveau style; this was created by a well known Croatian sculptor Ivan Rendic who designed many tombstones across Croatia. There is an inscription above the entrance for Ivo Mestrovic. |
