| Kopacki Rit is a nature park in the Osijek-Baranuja County and the park has been nominated for inclusion on the UNESCO register. Much of the park is susceptible to permanent flooding and therefore makes an excellent area for marsh plants such as the white willow. The area was occupied in the Stone Age and was still rich in fish. The nature park is one of the best known habitats for the red deer. 141 species of bird have nested within the park including the white tailed sea eagle.
