| It is mentioned in 13th century but built mostly in 18th century on hill Banfi with the viewpoint towards Štrigova. Legend about Croatian-Hungarian king Mathew Corvin and beautiful countess, daughter of count Bannfy of Lendava, tells that Mathew has built the castle as compensation for his absence because of royal business. Castle was in the care of Feštetići, lawyers Fernetović from Čakovec, Agromeđimurje and today it is owned by Žižek family. |
