| There are four parts to the Brijuni Cretaceous Park. Dinosaur footprints have been found at the following four sites, Ploče, Cape Pogledalo, Trstike/Debela Glava and Kamik/Plješivac. As soon as you leave the boat at Brijuni there is a limestone block containing a three toed dinosaur footprint. On the above four sites, over 200 dinosaur footprints have been found and these mainly date from the cretaceous period. Some of these prints have been discovered in the island’s quarries. |
