| The Motovun Film Festival lasts for five days either at the end of July or beginning of August. It shows films from independent productions and those made in small cinematographies. Usually it shows around seventy different titles made worldwide. The festival first started in a redundant theatre and then progressed into the main square which is transformed into an outdoor film venue. None of the films that are shown are Hollywood films.
