"Ignorance of the role of the Franciscans was only part of this general ignorance, increased herostratski-primitive attitude towards Catholic-Franciscan-Croatian tradition as a 'clerical-enemy." Unnecessary, incomprehensible destruction of monasteries and libraries gučogorskog the 1945th year contains all the terrible symbolism of this relationship , the symbolism of fire Alexandrian library! Such an act can not be interpreted, much less justify, by any revolucionarnošću. It was simply barbaric gesture-one archaic tribal mentality - a gesture of hatred and revenge "(John Lovrenović, light words, 1989. no. 88-89). Shortly after the fire began to prepare for reconstruction. The church was placed under the roof of the 1946th year. This year is the beginning of its restoration, which lasted until recent times. The new monastery was built on the foundations of one wing of the old 1957th-59. year.
