The Donje Zelina curia was built in 1907 close to the medieval castle of Zelina by the Domjanic family. The facades are in the Art Noveau and historicist style and there are three levels to the building. The curia was built on top of a wooden curia where the poet Drogutin de Domjanic once lived. He wrote poems about the Zelina region which is an important part of Croatian culture.
