Lonjsko Polje Nature Park is situated alongside the bank of the River Sava. The nature park is notorious for the breeds of horse and pig such as the horse breed Posavac, as well as being an excellent fish spawning site. The wooden house village of Cigoc is situated nearby, where storks nest and breed. These houses are built in the local Posavina style. Much of the nature park can be flooded for up to six months of the year which makes it an excellent breeding ground.
