Description:
The church of St. George stands at the edge of the terraces above Šmartno. Fundamentally it is from the late Romantic period of the 13th century, however in the 17th century it partly fell down, so that today it does not show its true age. The church with its glass floor exposes early Middle Age remains from the 9th century.
