| It is an itinerary that follows an ancient path used by pilgrims to reach the sanctuary after having entered the town over the Diocletian's bridge and takes in the important archaeological and monumental finds from the various historical periods of the city and the sanctuary. The remains of the ancient place of worship are very interesting, particulary the rooms now know as San Legonziano, corresponding to the lower level of a 14th/15th C., extension of the Franciscan complex, wich house a fine cycle of late Medieval frescos with scenes of the Apocalypse. |
