| The Costantino Barbella Art Museum, dedicated to the famous Chiueti sculptor is housed in Palazzo Martinetti-Bianch, which was formely the Jesuit College built in the 17th C. The museum exhibits 15th- to 20th C. paintings, sculptures, ceramics and furniture mainly by regional artists (including works of Francesco Paolo Michetti, Basilio Cascella, Filippo Palizzi, Carlo Antonio Grue e Costantino Barbella). Above them most interesting are the Madonna and Child and Crucifixion with Saints, frescoes from the late-14th century taken from the church of S. Domenico. |
