| The Church was founded in the 16th century, but rebuilt between 1186 and 1897. All that remains of the old chapel are the altar, the niche and the Barosque reredos with the two statues of St Apolonnia and St Lucy. The church has a rectangula plan with a nave and two aisles, and a small apse, now used as a sacristy. It has a 15th century polychrome terracotta statue of the Virgin and Child. The facade was designed by Vasto engineer Francesco Benedetti and built in 1894, while the large square in front of the church, with a staircase and campanile, recent additions. |
