| BELEF Center was founded in July 2004, as a City institution, which promotes and produces non-institutional programs in the area of culture. Emanating from the Belgrade Summer Festival, BELEF Center was conceived as a particularly mobile organization covering all the City areas and all the fields of arts and media. It makes arrangements for and realizes the following events: the Belgrade Summer Festival, the Days of Belgrade, is marks jubilees, historical, and all other important dates related to Belgrade.
The Belgrade Summer Festival, as the most attractive project of the Center, is a summer package of events, which is intended to produce and present the top-grade artistic achievements in the areas of the theater, music, visual arts, and other artistic disciplines in the course of the summer and to thus animate both the Belgraders and their guests.
BELEF Center carries out its programs in cooperation with the City companies and institutions, with numerous partners both in the country and abroad, and through direct contacts with the artists. |
