| The Center has a building of an area of 2,745 m2, a part of which occupies the Central Library Lazarevac. The building has a general-purpose hall with 566 seats, with a well-equipped stage area and a Dolby-stereo cinema loudspeaker system installed in it. The Center includes the exhibition premises of the gallery "Savremenici", the premises of the sales gallery "Simonida", a classroom for different training courses and rehearsals, a modern dressing-room, and a number of offices.
Within its regular activities, the Cultural Center Lazarevac is engaged in the following:
Protection, use, and touring of the Charnel House of Battle of Kolubara
Protection, use, and display of the works of art from the collection "Savremenici" (The Contemporaries) in the premises of the Modern Gallery Lazarevac. This Gallery also organizes exhibitions of contemporary artists
Organization of visual arts events and sales exhibitions in "Simonida" gallery.
Within its cultural and educational activities, the Center organizes panels, lectures, training courses, and promotions. An important activity is arranging of theater performances for children and adults, musical and entertaining events, as well as regular movie shows. For all the activities, the Center designs and produces posters, billboards, catalogues, and other promotional materials. |
