Description:	The former Augustinian abbey dating back to the 12th century is today in the hands of Benedictine monks. Situated on a hill, the monastery resembles a castle and was actually fortified in the 15th century against the invasions of the Turks and Hungarians. In the beautiful three-story arcade courtyard the summer games of Eberndorf are taking place every summer in July and August.
