| The Esterházy "Burg Forchtenstein" castle offers a large collection of arms and art treasures. The castle was built in the 13th century and was the venue of the traditional castle festivals until 1984. The new annual family event is called "Burg Forchtenstein Fantastic - Experience Life in Former Times". The Rosalienkapelle chapel was erected in 1666 and is the located at the highest point of the Rosaliengebirge mountains, the Heuberg (748 m). The chapel is a popular place of pilgrimage.
