Description:
1263 saw the consecration of St. Nicholas´as the first parish church in Stein. The triple naved church with chancel which we see today was built in the mid 15th century. Note the late Gothic detail on the tower at the western end, in particular on the arches; the pinnacles were designed by >Jakob Prandtauer in 1714.
