Description:
Its origins rislagono to very ancient times, prior to 1138, and included, among other things, a church, much smaller current structure, dedicated to St. Agnes. In the fifteenth century the building was expanded. In later centuries the convent undergoes a series of different uses that led him, at the end of the 60s, in disastrous condition, and such as to require an intervention of consolidation and restoration by the Superintendent of Monuments Aquila in the early 70s. In the eighties a further restoration has fully recovered the beautiful monastery and finally dismissed fears for his departure. The church has a single nave of the Franciscan monastic type dating from the fourteenth century.
