The first document attesting to the church dates back to 1180. it belonged to the Benedictine nuns, as well as the adjoining monastery, and in the sixteenth century the Friars Minor. His first name and 'justified by the presence of a high relief in the tympanum of the portal site. It has a basilica with three naves and side chapels, with renovations and expansions of the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. Are the façade of the Romanesque style, simple and enriched by the sculpted bezel, and the interior, with three naves separated by strong pillars.
