Includes several frescoes and paintings, jewelery and especially sacred, many coming from Palestine. Among the most important are: Patriarchal Cross twin, containing the relic of the Holy Cross, brought in Barletta in 1291 by the Patriarch of Jerusalem Randulphus; cubic Tabernacle with Christ in Majesty in a mandorla with evangelists and two angels, copper and enamel champlevé, from the early decades of the thirteenth century; Eucharistic Dove worked with gilded copper engraving and embossing, dating from the end of 1100 and no later than 1240; Gothic monstrance of the twelfth century; Jerusalemite Breviary-ritual, origin of the twelfth century, with additions of the fourteenth century. |
