A church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Nazareth is located outside the walls existing in 1172, and was the seat of the canons of S. Mary of Nazareth. The current church was built around 1569 by the Spanish bishop Bernardo de Figueroa, who rebuilt the old church of St. Bartholomew for the grant it because the church outside the walls, damaged in 1528 by French troops, was now in ruins. The canons built a hospital next to the church .   In later centuries it was also annexed the Archbishop's Palace (1728). The church has an exterior facade strips, animated by a single portal, from a window above and a gabled top. Inside there are numerous frescoes, painted canvases, sculptures and sacred furnishings in the baroque style.
