| Renaissance style. The church was erected in 1503, in time of plague, in honor of San Sebastian, with the hope of Giuliano Gradenico, third governor of Trani on behalf of the Serenissima Republic of Venice. On 7 November1533 the church and monastery were granted to the monks of St. Augustine. The facade is divided horizontally into two levels with cornices. The structure is lightened by the large window on the first level and the portal below. The interior octagonal houses some paintings copyright, as St. Francis Xavier, St. Thomas Aquinas. In this church lies the Confraternity of St. James. |
