Description:
Metrological analysis suggest the existence of an extended chamber tomb in the late antiquity and the medieval crypt become. The church, with side entrance, consists of three rooms and liturgical forms part of a diagram is particularly widespread in Taranto. The square hall is preceded by a narthex, now discovered and divided from the nave by a monolithic pillar. The presbytery is developed with single-aisle central circular apse and the classroom is divided by a wall made up of three large round arches which already appears as a real welcoming iconostasis on the parapets of the arches typical of the subjects' Annuciazione deacons and saints.
