| The Mother Church of Palagiano dates from the eighteenth century and has a simple facade, the transition from Baroque to neoclassical. The interior has a nave and retains an oil painting of the eighteenth century "Virgin of Miracles", attributed to Domenico Carella, choir stalls, a beautiful eighteenth-century organ, and a fine wooden statue of St. Francis convent dressed, belonging the suppressed convent of Santa Maria Nova. |
