| The church of San Michele Arcangelo is a religious building in the Romanesque style, based on pre-existing Roman and early medieval, located behind the town of San Vittorino, in the municipality of L'Aquila.
The building, located a short distance from the ancient Sabine city of Amiternum, has a long history linked to the cult of St. Vittorino, martyr under Nerva and buried in this place in the fifth century. There are the inhabitants of Amiternum to build a shrine in his honor
