| The Shrine of SS. Salvatore is located 2 km from the town, the site where the X-XI century. There was a small church called Santa Maria di Trimoggia, which served as a village situated near. In 1104 the Bishop of Andria, Oesidio, permitted the villagers to move inside the safe walls of the Norman city, in the area of St. Andrew, where now is the Church of St. Nicholas Trimodiense.
The ancient place of worship was given to a hermit, and preserved in ancient image of the Virgin continued to be venerated. The new sanctuary was built in 1901 with the contribution of the faithful and the Chapter of St. Nicholas.
The church has three naves separated by pillars of colored marble with bases and capitals of white marble, and there is a venerated Byzantine painting (XIV c.) depicting the Saviour crowned with thorns tied to the column. The tower has a floor base and octagonal spire. Currently the sanctuary is run by the Fathers Dehonians.
