| The historical centre of Pulsano, at 37 meters above sea level and 16 km far away from Taranto, dominated by the majestic Castle of the XV century with a quadrilateral plant and a great quadrilateral tower, various quadrilateral towers on which there is a Guelph ornament and cylindrical towers, everyone with different sizes. The brattices and the brackets of the bastions, the square battlements of the towers and their height are typical of the medieval castles, when, without firearms, the same structure of these buildings had an important defensive aim. |
