| The first plant of the church dates back to 1573 when, according to tradition, Francesco Antonio Roncio he built a church on the spot where once stood an ancient chapel.
It was enlarged in 1687 by architect Fra 'Nicholas of Lequile, which gave it the Latin cross plan with three naves, the original facade is still visible on the west side of the building.
The building has a large Baroque facade and a bell tower, also baroque, dating back to 1732.
The interior is embellished and decorated with numerous works, among which the main altar, decorated with wood carvings.
In the aisles there are other Baroque altars, decorated with ornately carved. |
