| Town Hall corresponds to the former convent of the Minor Conventual Fathers, that following the law Murat was confiscated in 1809 and in 1814 was officially released for public use to the University of Andria, which already used some local. In 1839 the architect Louis Castellucci modified extensively renovated it. In 1850 Frederick Santacroce reworked the facade that is the most significant building in the neoclassical sense, raising three steps and giving it symmetry, side wings, a central projection comprising the double staircase entrance ramp, a porch and attic surmounted by a clock. In the cloister was left there for several years, the local police command. The cloister is still the seat of municipal offices. The last renovation which was submitted the Town Hall dates from 1962. |
