| Castello della Monica is the rebuilding of an earlier medieval building, the Church of San Venancio. The reconstruction takes place during the 800 project of the Gennaro Monica, Teramo artist who wanted to erect a building that would express the flavor of paintings of the eighteenth century and the sensitivity of Romanticism enriched with examples of neo-Gothic art, popular at the time.
