| The church of San Marcello was enlarged and beautified under the lordship of Niccolò da Procida, whose crest is carved on the top of the portal. The elegant late Gothic portal, is enhanced by the bezel. The fresco, in 1472, depicts a Madonna and Child with Saints and Vincent Marcello and is due to a personality of international Gothic art. |
