The Church of St Michael the Archangel rises on the foundations of a small church, demolished in 1723. In 1743 the church was damaged by the earthquake that shook large part of Salento peninsula. In 1933 it was enlarged and was made a transept. In 1955 the church was modified again, backing the facade. The late Baroque façade is made of blocks of carparo. The main entrance is flanked by two niches containing statues of the apostles Peter and Paul. The paintings preserved in the church are of some interest.
