The church of St. Michael the Archangel was built around 1570. The church has an elegant façade made of local stone framed by two heavy pilasters. At the center is the entrance, with its fine carvings, place in line with the large rose window, similar to the Basilica of Santa Croce in Lecce. The lateral portal is placed a statue of the archangel Michael. The interior shows the typical style of the early Baroque. The apse is valuable work of the sculptor Gabriele Riccardi. Many changes have occurred in the restoration of 1975.
The best time to visit is during the Sant' Antonio festival which is from August 10th to 12th, or during the Fiera di San Giuseppe, on March 19th, when many families set up tables in the streets and cook local specialities, these are called the "Tavole di S. Giuseppe" .
