| The church of Sant’Antonio da Padova (Saint Anthony of Padua) is in the historical centre of Minervino di Lecce. It is part of the convent complex of the Reformed Minor Brotherhood (Frati Minori Riformati), built during the 16th century. There is only one entrance, part of the plain façade, and looking in from here you can see the main altar on the opposite wall, where there is a wooden statue of the Saint and a painting thought to be by Catalano. The majestic organ was made in 1733 by Carlo Sanarica. |
