| The Tower Defense was built in 1550 of local stone, as inferred from an inscription on the lintel of the door. Today the tower stands isolated in the small town square.
The tower was part of the second line of defense towers coastal Spanish age. The tower has a circular, it is fifteen feet wide and twenty high, it is equipped with ten machicolations and five gunboats. Recently renovated, is used for cultural events. |
