Description:
The Chapel of St. Peter was built in the tenth century on an existing construction, with large blocks of stone from the nearby Messapian buildings of the city of Vereto. It has a single rectangular nave and is similar to the contemporary Romanesque Church of San Giovanni Battista in the nearby Patù. Te church is situated on the outskirts of the village, along the left side of the road leading the cemetery. Perhaps it was built to remember the passage of St. Peter from the far corner of Italy.
