Description:
The Sanctuary is to preserve a precious Byzantine monolith dating from the XI-XII centuries. and is painted with the image of the Virgin and Child. This Virgin is venerated in Parabita with the title of Our Lady of Culture. The basilica was designed in the mid-nineteenth century and then created starting in 1913, on a pre-existing church. This church is first mentioned in the Pastoral Visit of 1450 and have kept the preziona relic. The church is a place of pilgrimage
