Description:
The Church of the Madonna of Vereto, outside the urban centre, was built in the XVII century on a preexisting building. The façade and the inside are very simply. Here each year, on the 15th of August the priest celebrates a mass dedicated to the Holy Virgin Mary. Inside is an interesting fresco depicting St. Paul with a sword around which there are two snakes. The church is located at the acropolis of the pre-Roman city of Vereto.
