Description:
The church of Our Lady of the Palm was rebuilt in the mid-eighteenth century on a structure of orthodox ritual dating back to the sixteenth century. It was completed in 1755. It stands on the site where, according to tradition, the Virgin Mary appeared grasping the palm to free the country from the Turkish threat.
