Description:
The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie was built in 1640 and enlarged several times in 1715 and in 1797. Originally there was a Byzantine church dedicated to St. Nicholas, finally destroyed at the end of the eighteenth century. Today the church has a simple facade flanked by a bell tower built in the nineteenth century. The latter was almost completely demolished in 1940, after it was struck by lightning. The bell tower was rebuilt in 2002.
